Bridget a recovering addict and ex-stripper have been six months sober and starting to get her life back on track when she becomes the sole witness to a professional hit. She flees to New York, leaving behind her only friend and confidant Malcolm played by Mike Colter and followed by persistent FBI Agent Victor Machado played by Nestor Carbonell. In New York, Bridget reunites with her estranged twin, Siobhan. Wealthy, pampered and seemingly happily married to Andrew Martin played by the gorgeous Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, Siobhan lives what appears to be a fairy tale life; a life Bridget can only dream about. But all that soon changes! During a bonding boat trip Siobhan disappears overboard, leaving Bridget alone in the high sea, panicking and assuming she drowned Bridget makes the split decision to take on her sister's identity. However; upon returning to her sister’s perfect world, Bridget soon discovers Siobhan’s shocking secrets, from a strained relationship with her husband, an affair with her best friend’s husband and a troubled step daughter, she soon realises she is no safer as Siobhan than she is as herself…a self everyone finds different but are happy to accept...
